Tim D. Gruber brings over 25 years of management experience to his new dual roles as GM of the Western Division and Chief Revenue Officer at Adams Publishing Group (APG). As GM, Gruber will focus on maximizing operational efficiency and performance of the Western Division. As Chief Revenue Officer, he will lead company-wide initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Gruber joins APG from Advance Local Michigan, where he served as President and Chief Revenue Officer. He has held several other senior leadership positions with Advance Local and Gannett in the Michigan market. Most notably, Gruber was Regional President of Gannett Michigan, overseeing flagship publications such as the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News as well as several smaller regional papers.
With decades of experience in sales, marketing, business development and operations, Gruber will leverage his expertise to strengthen APG’s management team. APG CEO Mark Adams emphasized Gruber’s proven track record of developing new revenue streams, which will bring added value.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Gruber will draw on his extensive background in the Michigan media market as he takes the reins of the Western Division. An avid skier and boater, Gruber also places high value on spending time with family, including his wife and three daughters.
