Chris White brings a seasoned leadership background to his role as Publisher of The Greeneville Sun and Regional President for the Tennessee/North Carolina/Virginia Region at Adams Publishing Group (APG). His extensive experience in the media industry is marked by significant roles including President and Publisher of The Times of Northwest Indiana, and various influential positions within Lee Enterprises such as Vice President of Transformation and Group Publisher.

Prior to his decade-long tenure in Indiana, Chris’s career spanned across multiple publications, where he excelled as Group Publisher and Vice President of Sales for Gatehouse Media’s Ohio division and for CNHI in Oklahoma and Texas. His leadership acumen is backed by a robust academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, and a certificate from Northwestern University’s Media Management Center.

Throughout his career, Chris has been deeply invested in community service, holding chair positions in notable organizations including the Lake Area United Way and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana. He has also served on the boards of various chambers of commerce, economic development groups, and tourism bodies, reinforcing his commitment to the regions he serves.
